Quote:This is a random question but I came across some affirmational techniques that some Buddhist or Hindu monks called siddhi's where they chant a mantra hundreds of thousands or millions of times. Who has time to sit there and chant that many repeititons.
Apparently, some Buddhist or Hindu monks.
Quote:Would affirmations at that level of repetitons even be effective?
What do you suppose BAMM is doing? Literally several hundred statements all being delivered to your brain about once every five minutes. Figure an average of 250 statements per stage, every 5 minutes, at 8 hours a day for years? That's right up there with 'em.
Of course it is effective.
Quote:BAMM is making me more self reliant and assertive but in very subtle ways. Fear is being dealt with as well. I am becoming more productive also. Is this the typical stage 2 response?
The level of subtlety is variable, from person to person, but those qualities are commonly encountered in that stage, yes.
