Few do, apparently.
Especially whenever there's a noticeable shift in your favor occurring. Many appear to sooner or later accept and adapt to your new "you" (because they have no choice and whatever they're doing appears to be having no effect, at least outwardly), but once you try going further they're right back to their old shenanigans.
And some are so stubborn and vindictive you kinda start losing hope for humankind, lol.
Never underestimate the human potential for petty malevolence.
