Exporting a playlist in VLC player, does it effect the original audio? - Simon - 04-11-2016

Hi all,

I have a question:

If I make a playlist in VLC player containing 2x EPHRA 2.0 trickling stream (so that it plays and loops on my SanDisk Clip sports mp3 player), I can choose to export the playlist in 4 different files, being:

- .m3u8
- .xspf
- .m3u
- .html

Is there any preferable file format? Or doesn't it matter at all.
I was wondering about this, since I thought it might affect the audio quality.

Is there anyone who knows this?

Thanks.

None of those actually affect the original file unless replay gain info is stored in the playlist metadata. You're good to go.
