Dr. Paul ruined that movie for me. Good times. RE: Awesome movies! - Geodude - 06-10-2014 The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) one of my all-time favorites. My personal top 3: Matrix (first one mostly, amazing philosophy and meaning behind it) Donnie Darko ( His honesty, Alpha maleness and the therapist are gold. Not to mention the psychological effect of the movie) Unusual Suspects (so much suspense and how Kevin Spacy made it to this movie is inspiring) RE: Awesome movies! - Benjamin - 09-16-2014 I have no idea what this is about even from the trailer.. but I love mental movies so i'll watch it. RE: Awesome movies! - TheRealJustin - 12-26-2015 -Minority Report -The Departed -The Matrix Low replay value, but probably the best 3 movies ever made imo. Very good TV show I just watched and never heard of before: -The 100 RE: Awesome movies! - apollolux - 12-26-2015 (12-26-2015, 10:41 AM)TheRealJustin Wrote: -Minority Report +1 on The Departed and The Matrix, though I disagree on the replay value of The Matrix (I think it's very replayable, even in 2015/2016); I'm half-and-half on Minority Report, though. The Matrix is a bit tainted by the executive meddling found in its sequels, though. Looks like I wont be bored for a while.. RE: Awesome movies! - Life - 01-10-2016 Ninja scroll is the most animated alpha movie I've ever seen RE: Awesome movies! - SargeMaximus - 01-10-2016 (01-10-2016, 03:40 PM)Guider Wrote: Ninja scroll is the most animated alpha movie I've ever seen I didn't like Ninja scroll that much tbh. A movie I'm about 10 minutes away from finishing (but it's getting too late, so I'll have to finish it another time) is "Lost in Translation". A really meditative movie about life. It's not making a point either, just gently stirs thoughts and emotions in powerful ways. It's one of those movies that will most likely mean something different each time you watch it throughout your life, but that also spurs some revelations for you each time you watch it, and always in a different way, relevant to where you are in your journey. It's like a collage. Those are the kinds of movies I like best. |
