I know Shannon's answer will be to stick to the loops specified. I'm sure he will confirm when he sees it. More isn't always better with 5.5g. With the results you're getting the specified amount looks like it's going well for you.
The number of loops instructed is the optimal number of loops for the majority of people. More than that degrades the effects for those people.
