In other news, lots of resistance today. Looks like Ben's right -- I'm an emotional eater. Was having significant resistance until I gobbled down a bunch of sugar, ruining today's workouts. Gonna consider today my cheat today (usually it's Sunday).

Chaos, how do you mature a facebook pixel? is that where you run FB ads, put a pixel further down the funnel and then do a lookalike audience based on that?

Unfortunately I only picked it because I know the pattern so well myself. I used to be pretty bad, like at night i'd randomly go and have a couple of chocolate bars and all kinds of stuff.

I've improved it majorly when I dealt with some of the emotional issues around my weight, but it still comes up sometimes. Mainly rejection and girls causes it for me now.

Hopefully it gets better as you go on.

Ideally, you'd place the Pixel on every page at every step of the funnel. You want it to collect as much data as possible. And yes, once it had about 100 pixel fires, you'd create a lookalike audience from it.

I'm going to experiment with creating lookalike audiences from my e-mail list soon, though.

Just hired my first ghostwriter.

I'm going to expand to Kindle development, creating Kindle Short Reads (about 40 - 50 pages) in a serial format. While each story is self-contained, they'll contribute to a larger arc, like a television show.

I'm putting the stories under pen names, each name representing a different story niche. For example, if I went with... Damien Sharpe, "his" brand would represent the psychological thriller niche, or something like that.

Use that to slowly build my storytelling platform, which will eventually grow into independent film production. I'm not leaving eCommerce, since it pays the bills and will fund the Kindle dev.

I'm so f*cking tired of listening to white people (and non-blacks in general) pontificating about the ills and the causes of the black community. My GOD, I can't read an article on video games without someone crying about Commander Shepard being black in Mass Effect. I can't read a BASE journal without someone stating an ignorant and incorrect "observation" about the black community.

And of course, they completely ignore the 500 years of chattel slavery, followed by Jim Crow and other discriminatory laws that were only repealed 70 years ago. Think about that. That's not even a full generation. You created a system that was designed to beat down an entire group of people and now you're so f*cking shocked that they haven't recovered in less than 100 years?

Of course not -- because then, you wouldn't be able to hold on to your privileged sense of inherent superiority, hunh?

Every where there's poverty, there's crime. Ever notice how these same white people never talk about the extreme organized crime in poverty-stricken areas of Russia? No black people there, who do you blame then?

Poverty is a generational curse. It's a fucking black hole. It's almost damn near impossible to get free. Look at all the modules in BASE. Look at what it takes? The average person, who knows nothing but crime and poverty will usually follow the same programming. If it were so easy to break away from, Shannon wouldn't have a business right now.

That's what black people mean when they say, if you didn't grow up black, you can't know. Because quite frankly, we're tired of hearing people throw out statistics without acknowledging that statistics don't reveal the cause, only the effects. And we're sick of people saying the cause is some kind of inherent flaw in us.

So, I've said this before -- the manifestations of Trump and Clinton -- is a battle between traditional WHITE masculinity and modern WHITE feminism. That's it. And as an intelligent black man in today's society, I can honestly say that I don't give a shit who wins, because black people won't get any benefit from it. While you guys devastate each other for political power, we'll just sit back and bide our time, waiting for the "winner" to emerges, bloody and broken, and THEN we'll take everything that was denied to us.

I hate it when people generalize and clump people into groups or statistics to wage their war.

Now that I've gotten that out of my system:

BASE is bringing out my cold, calculating villain side. I think DMSI v2.5 threw my self-esteem into the fucking solar system, because I feel like an absolute god right now, and that same feeling is leaking out into my business dealings.

First, my SendGrid account got shut down because they don't want to deal with affiliate marketers anymore. Cool, I get it. However, I just paid $49.99 for a premium account like two days ago. They refused to refund the money, claiming that I'm not entitled to a refund because my account was suspended. In the past, I might've accepted that mistreatment, but today, I went a crusade to get my money back. And, I won.

Then, my business partner tried to lower my cut of an upcoming product launch to 15% from 25%, because he claimed he invested more money in the product. However, he's using one of MY products for the upsells. Long story short, my argument was that the front end price doesn't matter nearly as much as the upsells, because they're the money makers. You use a low front-end price to entice people into your funnel. So... $7 for the front end. Then, you price your upsells at increasing intervals. The first may be $12. The next, $17. All the way up to like, $97. Once people are in your funnel, they're inclined to keep buying. Anyway, he ended up backing down and we agreed on 20%.

Again, in the past I would've taken that deal. Now, I'm wheeling and dealing.

There's this distinct IDGAF feeling flowing through my minds. Oddly enough, women are more attracted to me on BASE + UM than they were on DMSI. NOW, please don't knock DMSI for this. My theory is this: DMSI did some serious internal work. In my mind, maximum sexiness is being a powerful, rich entrepreneur. And DMSI pushed me in that direction. Now that I'm running BASE, the two are acting synergistically. It's an amazing feeling.

I'm also generating ideas like crazy. Things that SHOULD be obvious. For example, I'm not the BEST at execution. I can come up with killer ideas, but I hate actually building the damn things. So... why not outsource product development too? I can probably get an entire product written for like $75, and then make at least $1500+ when I launch it.

That being said, tomorrow morning, I'm outsourcing the creation of a Kindle Training Guide. Gonna launch it in late November. Gotta be careful, I'm investing a lot of cash right now. Shit HAS to pay off.

Cardone said in his post that he doesn't care who wins or loses because he makes his own destiny. This is the sort of attitude we all should have. One that only cares about our own well being and that of our families. That is what Cardone preaches. Hard work/hustling and domination for ourselves and our families.

A great point my relatives had was that no matter what hell hole happens here, it can't possibly be worse than WW2 and communism. They survived both in Poland. Life goes on.
