Things are just generally "going my way."  I've had a friend pay for dinner, and friends are actually in contact w/ me more than usual.  I had a bought of depression last Sunday, and just when I was about to nap to "run away" from the feeling, my friend asked me to go a movie that really lifted my spirits.

I was missing a few different things over the last week, and as I thought about them, I was easily "led" to find them.

I'm hitting a lot of green lights, or taking different routes and saving time driving (ie. I avoided an intersection on a route I normally take that had a light out - which would have cost me an extra 10-15 minutes).

These things happening are saving me irritation and frustration.

Today, I also noticed I'm laughing a lot more, and even caught myself whistling.  All signposts I'm making headway on my goals.

Hmm. My main goal for this program would be to gain more friends.

Some new coworkers and a different position at work would be up there as well.
The weather was nice yesterday, so I knew I should jog - but I couldn't bring myself to. My feelings run me, and I "just didn't feel like it." So my wife suggested I run. And I told her, "I should, but I don't feel like it." She kept hounding me, and finally I just did it. I was glad I did, and felt good after...until it was time to color eggs with the kids.

For some reason, the mess of coloring eggs wasn't the fun exercise it should have been. Instead, it just stressed me out - I didn't really want any part of it. After that, I wasn't in a good mental or emotional space for the rest of the day. Near bed, I wanted to run USLM4 really, really bad. I almost felt compelled to run it. But, I didn't. We'll see if that same compulsion is there today, or if this same type of thing happens next week.

Woke up feeling pretty decent this morning - we'll see how the day transpires.
Things went downhill, mentally and emotionally, for me since last post. Could be turbulence setting in, could be that I used a doxylamine to sleep Tue night (instead of utilizing a better choice - ie something that wouldn't affect my state-of-mind, as doxylamine is known in my experience to do), could be both.

I once again tweaked my goals this morning. I'm happier with them, and (as I mentioned in prior posts) they are all closely interrelated goals that focus on mental/emotional/thinking/behavioral change. I figure it's quicker and easier to change myself than change others/external things or events.

Having made these changes - again I'm feeling the morphine drip. It started as soon as I finished writing and reading the changes. I did not experience the drip at all yesterday.

Very much looking forward to running loops tonight for Round 2.
Wanted to mention a few things:

In one run of USLM4, I've broken (or am working on breaking) recurring patterns of behavior I normally run/rely on to waste time, or keep myself in a long-term negative pattern that is doomed to repeat, cyclically. An example, silly and simple as it may sound, is resorting to crash dieting to get to low levels of body fat for warm weather. The desire to engage in the behavior has been minimized, the desire to harm my health via supplements or by reinforcing old patterns is dissolving, the reasons I've used as motivation for eating well or exercising in the past are dissolving and being replaced by healthier alternatives (that are more likely to be healthy and work long-term).

My GERD/upper GI pain is much less (I suspect I've had an ulcer for some time) - and I've only now made a connection to the strain I've been under using DMSI. Another reason is my physical health may be improving, as physical health could easily improve based on the goals I've set w/ USLM4.

@RTBoss

Yeah my GERD flares up every year it seems like. Last year I had a bad bout of gastritis that included heartburn, bloatedness, nausea, and worse of all, hunger pangs. The hunger pangs drove me crazy. I would eat something and then feel the need to eat again soon after. It was  terrible. Like I woke up in the middle of the night feeling insanely hungry.

My issues have resurfaced on Sunday evening, but nowhere near as bad. The hunger pangs are present but not as severe as they were last year.  This has me wondering if USLM4 could be used as a physical healing sub. I am considering jumping on if my symptoms do not improve fairly soon.
Dang, I feel good today! I had a good day yesterday, too, for the most part, but today I almost feel manic. I'm keeping that in check, however.

Man, it's amazing what that first night of 3 loops on Round 2 has done. I'm feeling positive, getting some things done, feel like going outside, have had the TV off.

I got a pleasant surprise when I got on the scale today, too. I thought I was 178, but I'm only 174. Nice. I haven't even changed my eating habits all that much yet, and I've only gone on 2 runs. It'll all get better from here, and without the bad habits I've used in the past to get to where I need to go.

I've also felt lighter, and genuinely laughed more than a few times already today - something I've missed.

Oh, and I'm coloring out those damn gray hairs I've hated so much. People have told me to let it go, but looking older has only made me upset, and I don't need that right now. So they're gone. Much happier.

Great results.

Seems liie USLM4 is really working well for you. Are you GERD symptoms still subsiding? Is that one of your goals with the program?
Wife was at work for 24 hours yesterday, so I listened to hybrid overnight. Had some sleep disturbances, but not too bad.

Feeling good again today. Thinking much more positively, and have a general feeling that everything's ok, or getting better, without any worry or concern over the future. It was nearly the opposite on DMSI, where everyday was stress, concern, and impending doom. The contrast becomes more and more apparent to me.

Definitely have that "high on life" feeling!

I asked my wife yesterday if she was noticing anything on USLM4. She just looked at me and said, "Nope." I don't get it - to me it's very obvious!
Maybe your wife is too busy to notice anything.

She's been traditionally resistant, consciously believing subs don't work.  She's been a bit more open-minded lately.
Hi RTBoss!!

Let me ask this...
Besides your wife being open minded.
Have you noticed how USLM4 is working in her life??

Other than the check she received in the mail, it's tough.  She's at work quite a bit.

For the holiday yesterday, she had bought my son gray shorts and ordered a pink shirt.  The shirt that came in the mail was blue.  She had screwed up the drop-down menu when ordering.  So she went out to remedy that last minute.  She wasn't having any luck, when she found one lone pair of pink shorts - which just so happened to be my son's size.  She then bought a gray shirt.  So the colors flipped, but we ended up okay in the end.

Just a little example, but one none-the-less.

We're on SASRB again, as of last night.
Do you feel like you could handle more than 3 days on?

I don't know.  I was quite tired yesterday, but then again, it was a busy day w/ the kids and wife was working.  I started feeling a bit depressed last night, and have felt down this morning.  I don't know if doing more than 3 days would increase or decrease that.

Last week, I would have said yes.  Especially after 5 days - I was chomping at the bit to run loops.

Let's see how this week goes.
