So, I have just started on a nofap journey which will probably last for 1 year or a bit more. In the meantime I'm working on as much as possible on myself and whatever I have control over. My aim is to get as much pleasure out of this life eventually after a 1-year abstinence, with sexual pleasure being the main part (while not neglecting self-improvement and betterment). I'm more into punting than picking up girls in public, so I plan on doing this with high-class escorts and private masseurs regularly, more than approaching random girls (but this may change, as this may be just due to fear of going out there and meeting women, or having unrealistic standards).
I suspect that I will have huge resistances to the subs, as I had to undergo hallucinations, several periods of depression, massive hatred despite NLP, visualization, self-improvement practices, etc. to get to a point where I was humble enough to start taking control of my life at a much much more down-to-earth level. And even now I'm still kinda lazy, bit moody, anxious, and highly sensitive. So yeah, I still have a lot of issues. Except with self-discipline.
With those in mind, which programs should I start with, with the eventual goal of having crazy, passionate, uninhibited sex eventually after 1 year hopefully? Don't worry, I'm not neglecting self-betterment, but I want to get as much sexual pleasure out of life as much as possible before I get too old (I'm 29).
Just bought DMSI but seriously reconsidering listening to it, after reading through the forums about it not working for some people, the resistances, etc. If nothing works, I'll just consider artificial pheromones lol...
Thanks
Bolded things in your text that I base the following on:
- You seem very directed toward sexual pleasure. Is this caused by your current no-fap, or is this indulging in fantasies and focus on sexual pleasure something that take up most of your time and future goals on a regular basis? In that case this is a sign of inbalance in you, as sex should have a place in our daily lives, but not take up all of your time. This will probably be worked out over time by following the recommendation further down.
- Sounds like you are still suffering a bit from the effects from your depressions. Sensitivity, anxiousness, etc. I would say that much of this can be overcome with a few simple tools into a daily routine.
- Do you work out? How is your body feeling? Good health? Eating good?
Things that I would recommend starting to do daily:
- Wim-Hof routine
- Meditation
- Trauma releasing exercises
- Going to the gym and train core-exercises a couple of days a week
- Some cardio where you get to work up your pulse a couple of days a week.
GL with your nofap. I'm 1 year in and don't watch porn anymore
