You should consider getting your own site where you can sell from and not only be on Amazon. If Amazon for whatever reason would shut you down you'd lose your whole income if you only exist on Amazon.

Yep doing that now. The marketing for your own site is on another level of difficulty compared to Amazon. Ads, social media, content marketing and shit. Amazon is like child's play in comparison. Guess I've been playing on easy mode all this while. Well, that's why I jumped on MLS in the first place, to get all these down!

How long did it take for you to build up so that your brand was an "attractive brand" that people want to buy from? Did you market in any specific way to get people interested in your product/brand initially?

You can read the first post of this journal for a more detailed timeline . No I didn't do any launch. I basically put the product up there and people just started buying. I believe design is the name of the game. I spent my whole second run of AM6 conceptualizing and designing the product. I remembered it was my first day last December, it was just 3 days after my breakup, and I sold 91 units. It was a bittersweet moment lol.

Did you take any initial courses to get started or did you just "jump in"?

Nope but I definitely read and watched a lot of material from Jungle Scout.

Day 45 (Day 3 of B)
