As excited as everyone is for v2.3, I'm just waiting for v3 down the road. If v2.3 really delivers, then v3 would have to be DMSI: The Rockstar Sex Experience in order to warrant the upgrade! I imagine the new 6G tech from Beast 7 would make a world of difference.

I haven't done anything to the disinhibitor. The program is already built and sitting on my hard disk. Adjusting anything but what I adjusted will prevent me from knowing what's what based on the difference between 2.2 and 2.3. Trust me, this one has plenty o' quirples! I'm looking forward to using it myself.

The next version I work on is probably going to be 3.0. There is a LOT of stuff to add and adjust, and whether or not 2.3 works as intended, it's time to drop some gigaquirples!

Of course this has to wait until we have tested 2.3 sufficiently, and I have things to do in the meantime.

But I have some very interesting plans for 3.0, and I plan on making it well worth spending money on.

6G is aimed at being the maximum possible given current technology limits in certain directions. I am seeing in my models that I will be able to push the prototype beyond even the designated goals, but doing that given current technology etc. is very likely to be too dangerous. So that (design goal) is where it stops development for now. Long term forecasts suggest that there will be something beyond 6G, but it will probably take 10+ years to have technology etc. catch up sufficiently to make such a thing possible.

I have a feeling that v2.3 is going to absolutely astound. Like, this is the one, brothers! Just 12 more days of AM6! Although, after a year of running AM6 continuously, I've got this weird "bittersweet" feeling. That damn song Paul Walker tribute song keeps playing in my head when I think about it.

Shannon, what will it feel like when spilt off aspects of your psyche are reunited with your core personality when running E2? Is this what wisdom enhancement is for? Learning the lessons needed to deal with that specific trauma?

That sort of activity is done at the subconscious level and kept there. Consciously, if that happens, it will either go unnoticed or be a gradual adjustment that is comfortably handled for the conscious mind by the subconscious.

Wisdom enhancement is for helping you outgrow and refuse to engage in activities that cause you emotional harm. To some degree, it helps in the healing process.

But can not growth sometimes require some risk of emotional harm? For example approaching and being rejected? Isn't the program then hindering you to outgrow those issues? just curious

Maaaaan. They're always something between a musical performance and a play. The YEEZUS tour was absolutely insane. Saw that in Los Angeles. Dude had this giant @$$ mountain in the middle of the stadium with this huge LCD at the top that would show all kinds of imagery. He performed the entire concert in various masks and costumes. The "story" of Yeezus revolves around American consumerism, decadence and our eventual decline into degeneracy.

My favorite moment? When he performed "Stronger," he put on a mask that also served as a disco ball. They shined a special light at him and it split the light into this massive rainbow. Was absolutely nuts man. Disco mask in upper right:



And this was the stage:



People can say whatever the f*ck they want about Kanye, dude's a straight up creative genius. My only problem? Why the HELL didn't he tour "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy???"

Like, that album is the "Kid A" of hip-hop.

EDIT: for those that ain't know, Daft Punk produced this song and like... 4 other songs on YEEZUS.

In the YEEZUS tour narrative, [Rule 4] descends from [Rule 4] to chastise him for his role in contributing to America's obsession with wealth. At that point, he takes off his mask and performs a number of songs about the guilt he feels about abandoning his ideals and values and promises to do better in the future.

In his latest album, "The Life of Pablo," which had the most AWESOME release ever (he released it as a "beta" and kept updating it on the fly via Spotify, iTunes and Tidal), we're given a glimpse into that attempt to do better, as he devotes his life now to his craft and artistry, which he talks about in the song FML:

P.S. -- Kanye was best friends with Kim way back when his first album, The College Dropout, came out. That was like, 17 years ago. Dude's been trying to get in since then and finally got it.
