This was what i thought too. And i also heard something about an end of November release as well which exploded my curiosity for 6G.
I'm still in the patiently waiting camp for BASE 6G. Maybe next year around this time *fingers crossed*
But since 6G is a bit more refined now, though incomplete, I'm wondering how close 5.5G has come to 6G now. Is it 66% as effective as 6G? 75%?
I'm guessing (anticipating Shannon's response) that we can't know because 6G isn't finished yet, and we can't quantify what we have against something that isn't complete yet.
I don't have time to create meters for this sort of thing, and the effort would seriously distract from making 6G happen. And of course, when programming a meter, you have to know the minimum and maximum bounds for the numeric values being metered, so you're right, we couldn't answer that without 6G being developed. Regardless, it would be a wasted effort to find that answer.
