It seems reasonable.

I'm wondering if that particular part of the script pulls me closer to my ideal healed version of myself, or some other healed version of me as constructed through the sub.

I have been thinking on this a fair bit since I read it. I wanted to ask, but everyone is so excited about AOSI and you have been busy with it.
If the subconscious is full of gunk, GSF and other, how can it be "in the know" and not making decisions from a bad place? I am guessing that at some point the subconscious is pristine and then it gets muddied up, but are all subconscious's the same at some point or are they all different? We are a combination of our nature and nurture, but do you think there was anything before that?
Excellent observation and question.
The answer is in how the script is worded. This was something I had to consider in writing the script, and it is taken into account in how I define the ideal outcome such that being less than perfect does not misdirect the goal.
Every subconscious is the same AND different. It just depends on what level of subconscious you're talking about; some parts strongly appear to be "everyone is accessing this same mind" and some appear to be individuated.
My views on "before that" are complex, and they inherently violate Rule 4.
Quote:Where does free will fit into all this? You said to CatMan that there is a path and that the further you stray from it the harder it gets, is there a way to know this path (is it Astrology?) and who sets this path (a path has to be created right?) and decides its direction?
Free will is as I described once before. Some things we have free will concerning, and some we do not. The path I referred to when discussing this with CatMan, no, it is not astrology. Who sets this path gets into some pretty deep philosophical stuff that isn't really appropriate here. But the short answer is... you do.
Quote:Where do subs fit into this situation, if we are fighting the path and we run an inappropriate sub, will we resist it, are some of us never meant to be entrepreneurs or seducers? Or is it in our destiny to be a Transcendent Alpha (as an example) and the sub is just the means to getting there?
Regards.
You don't resist a sub if it is furthering an effort on your part to put you further off your chosen path. It seems pretty unlikely to me that the vast majority of people would even have such a situation. But if your chosen lesson in life is to understand what crushing poverty is like, then until you understand that to the right degree, you will not allow yourself to become wealthy, for example. There is nothing saying you cannot be wealthy, it's just that in such a case you have a very specific and important pre-requisite to achieve first, and how fast you achieve that is up to you.
As to destiny, that is again a subject of debate. It could go either way, though. I happen to believe it is my destiny to become at least a millionaire in my life. I believe I would succeed with or without BAMM. But I also suspect it might take me a lot longer without BAMM. Why wouldn't I use it? I can do the world a lot more good with wealth, than without it.
But if it is "in your destiny", then yes, you might be just using the sub to get there faster. If it's destiny, you'll get there regardless.
