My knees have been getting a high frequency of pain when sitting doing my thing normally at work, and lasting awhile after. Nothing extreme like intense sports or something to warrant such discomfort and pangs of pain. Definitely out of the ordinary, and only noted the last few weeks.
I also get these awful what I call "locking" of my calf muscles. Very painful, horrible pain, can last up to 3 days at times. Like a super powerful muscle cramp, only in my calves. Forces me to use 1.25 legs for a few days. And strangely only strikes when I wake up, and do a little stretch in the morning, then lasting a long time after it gives me that first strike of deep searing pain and immobilising the leg. Just now getting rid of it, almost 100% again. Happens every few weeks or so. Back pain, killing normal range of motion and debilitating me, at times lasting for days when it strikes too. Same frequency.
May be something to consider now that there's at least 3 of us complaining of knee pain at a minimum. Makes no sense to me WHY this would happen though. But I don't know what is in the script.
I thought it was relevant to report on this due to his post, now yours. This may not be a coincidence as I originally thought.
Here's some food for thought:
These might be psychosomatic effects of healing, if you're using ver. A.
F. in. while my knees aren't complaining, I sometimes get a stinging, somewhat painful "pins-and-needles" sensation in my right foot (and other places, here or there - I'm reporting most of it in my DMSI journal if you're interested). I am, like, 99% certain it is healing-related, as I'd sometimes get sensations like these when I was doing hardcore energy healing work on my own (back on ver. 3.1).
Stuff like that also tends to happen when people suddenly decide to play around with their chakras using physical means of tuning (f. in. Tibetan bowls) and they're all out of whack. I remember my ex getting serious heart palpitations when she took part in one such session; and they would not let go for over 24 hours, too.
If you're experiencing psychosomatic effects of this kind when using DMSI, you might want to check out various sources describing what might be the emotional/"metaphysical" reason behind any issue, and check whether this applies to you.
Hi there, have at ye!
I actually just started listening to A today. Since release, I've used B. But it still could be something sub-related, I figured I'd post about it after hearing others feeling the same thing. As then it may not just be some random thing with ME alone. For A, I waited until the servers were back to normal, then downloaded A right away and got started . Going to check out what the new C&H can do for now now, I've given B 50 days.
I will take a look at your journal again. I don't remember seeing that in your journal and have read it. I'll reread, thanks a lot for reaching out. I appreciate it!
I didn't mention the pins-and-needles in my foot, but I do mention other areas of weird physical sensation/pain in my journal (f. in. liver - which has pretty much passed altogether by now on third week with ver. A - on ver. B it was very, *very* pronounced).
I guess that different people would get different wonky sensations, depending on the areas that need work in relation to the program. I did a quick Internet search on "knee pain" and the "metaphysical" aspects thereof and, if the information I found is correct, am not surprised that they'd be acting up in your case, for instance.
Probably it'd be best to consult a seasoned holistic medicine/Chinese medicine practitioner for solid info (preferably one who's also a trained M.D., but there's relatively few people like that, I guess).
The knee pain is mostly gone, but I'm a little worried about trying my knees out on a lower body workout.
I've also scheduled a session with a chiropractor, which I'll have in about one month. Both my knees are crackly now, instead of only the other knee.
A good chiropractor should know what's what.
BTW. I just remembered having weird stuff going on with my knees back on ver. 3.1 A. I was not the only one, either. They did not hurt per se, but felt somewhat brittle/wobbly for a time.
