I think you misunderstand how dumb people can be and trust too much in the common sense of the masses. The lowest common denominator ruins it for everyone else in this case. Good ideas overall; would need to see how they perform in reality.

I agree with Frosted. It's already wild that this technology is publicly available at all. I think it's slipping through cracks in regulation for the moment simply because people don't "believe" in it. I hope to always be able to use these subs, but I'm not taking it for granted.

Regulation is a double edged blade.  On the one hand, regulation could be good if the regulators knew what they were doing and talking about.  But on the other hand, the people who really know what's going on in the subliminals community aren't the people who they'd turn to for regulation.  They're the people doing private science like me, who may not have official or formal credentials.  So what we would be left with is people who are "credentialed" making the decisions who think they know what's what, but largely or entirely don't, or, we'd be asked to reveal our scripts for "regulatory purposes" which would immediately give away our hard won secrets to whatever government body or government was "regulating" us and whomever was willing and able to bribe them.

In theory, regulation is a good thing here, but in practice, it would simply kill the industry by preventing anyone from doing anything that either mattered, or worked.

I think it would make sense to create a new Optimal Self-Confidence program with more add-ons, such as auto-config and shields.

With auto-config alone, the program would become much more powerful, and I’d happily pay for it.

Without it, I feel like I'm not getting "there" as soon as I'd like too and I’m "wasting" some time.

Wasting time also means that it will take me longer to move on to using and therefore buying another subliminal (so it can help reduce the sales cycle).

I believe the program is amazing and an excellent starter for newcomers (auto-config could make it more complex for newcomers). For people in the forum who are already familiar with it, I believe enough would be eager to purchase an upgraded version (maybe run a pre-order, saying that if you reach the minimum quantity of orders, you will make it?).

Also, it’s currently listed in the category of children and teens, but the description clearly states that it’s not for anyone under 13.

OSC may have an upgraded version released as a version you could pay for, but...

Shields are not designed for integration in 6G.  There are a couple of instances where it was necessary, but 6G is designed to be more modular than that.

Autoconfig was discontinued because it was just confusing people.  The people it worked for kept refusing to follow it's instructions, and the rest either never got results, or it was used as a form of self sabotage.  You're "getting there" just fine without it in 6G.

Under 13 still leaves teens.

Does anyone know what to do if you miss a day on 6G?

First, don't miss a day on 6G.

If you do, then continue as if you hadn't as long as it's only one day.  Don't do that again.

Also, for UMS, the ASRB cycles of Stage 1, 2, and 3 of UMS are factors of 2, and run for 32 days, but the ASRB cycle of Stage 4 is a factor of 7, and doesn't neatly slot into 32 days. On Stage 4, do we listen to 4 cycles (28 days), or 5 cycles (35 days)?

If you're using the program as a purchase, follow the directions even when it requires a little more than a month.  Whole usage cycles as much as possible.

If you're subscribing, you have the option of subscribing for an additional month, or choosing to cut it a little short. I don't have the freedom to adjust the length of a subscription in a way that solves this issue, unfortunately.  

Also, I've listened to all 4 stages on ultrasonic so far, but I haven't seen any outward results. Should I switch to hybrid for the next run of 4 stages?

You don't want to switch to hybrid from ultrasonic if you don't see results.  You want to switch to Masked, and use that for a run-through.  And then, if that does not produce results, THEN use hybrid.  Hybrid is most likely to be overload, so we use it as a last resort.

I will not be putting that sort of responsibility in the hands of even one person who cannot take it seriously.

That makes me think of the omission bias.

People judge inaction as less blameworthy than action, even if the overall outcome is worse.

Allowing people to use MIR may harm a few who don’t follow the instructions but save many who use it correctly.

There are dilemmas we can’t escape and I understand we sometimes choose the one that make us feel best.

Are we in favor of using animals to test medicines to save human lives?

We don’t want to be in those animals’ skin, but we don’t want to lose human lives.

There’s no perfect answer, and we can’t escape this. (Not answering would be inaction, which would support the status quo.)

Fact #1: MIR works, but only while it is being listened to.
Fact #2: Some people misuse it, which can result in a worse infection, or even serious problems up to and including death as a result of it being misused.
Fact #3: Regardless of how in favor I am of saving human lives, I cannot do anything if I get shut down because someone misuses a tool I create.  That would prevent me from making ANYTHING else.
Fact #4: Nobody else is doing what I am doing, and in some cases, nobody else is capable of creating what I can create.

Therefore...

1. If I am going to continue making things to help humanity, I need to protect myself from threats like being shut down because someone didn't follow the instructions on something they bought from me.  
2. To do so, I need to remove general access to things like that, and if not shut them down completely, then only offer them through outlets who are qualified to use them.  EG, medical staff.

There are good reasons why doctors are able to write prescriptions, but most people cannot.  It's because misusing a tool can sometimes result in harm instead of being helpful and useful.  And misuse typically results from ignorance, stupidity or assumptions.  This is, in fact, why antibiotics are starting to fail: people don't always use them properly.  

Limiting MIR to medical professionals only will ensure that it remains available, but prevents people from mis-using it.
