Well it appears I was so tired I forgot to hit "Update" when I fixed the URL. It had a missing - in it. I have repaired it, and updated, so the news page link should work. Was so tired after publishing that I crashed for an hour and a half.

Shannon I have done E2 for 15 months, E3 for 4 months, LTU V5 for 1 year and now OF 5.75.1 V1 for 8 months. I have a lot of childhood trauma and a lot of fears. Fears of abandonment and life itself. My mother made me fear everything. I want to be healed and start having a good life and be comfortable in my own skin.

Which program with be better OF V3 or E5?

I didn't have any success with OF V1. I know you have overcoming fear in E5.

I don't know if it's fear or logic.. most likely some kind of resistance. But now that E5 is out my mind is telling me that it would be better for me than OF V3, along with my memory of how good E2 was.

Good thing is that I have some awareness that it's most likely resistance and wanting to run away from OF.

What would be a situation to use EPHRA instead of OF? In my mind they occupy the same territory so I'm actually confused as to why you would use EPHRA when you could run OF.

PTSD is one.  Dealing with a major breakup, a death in the family, loss of a pet, loss of a dear friend.  Dealing with past traumas.  Overcoming fear isn't about emotional healing & pain relief.  I don't see how you could think they cover the same territory.

To be fair to OF v3, I healed tremendously in Colombia using this OF v2 for 4 months. That being said I use a technique along side it that helps release the trauma. Sedona Method. But without the Fear program bringing it up, I don't think I would have healed to the same extent or rate that I did.

In my personal case the fear of not wanting to experience the pain of an incident usually inhibited my processing of the emotional pain. Once the fear is removed the pain is processed, and rather quickly. 

Over the years it appears that the fear of the pain became too much that I didn't want to process it anymore as it just kept coming. Maybe I'm so turned off emotionally at this point that it's actually been a while since I experienced true emotional pain.

Congratulations on E5 @Shannon. I just read the sales page and looks great.

I may consider E5 after my run of OF3, once I've cleared ALL my fears and I'm not letting go of OF3 until I know its done that, however long that takes.

I saw some questions above asking in a nutshell what the difference is with OF and E5 and if I may ill give my take incase its correct and relevant.

I think fear is the underlying chain that keeps us from achieving anything. Once you remove that fear then you open the gates to releasing anything that has held us back as well as adding positive success to your life.

So the way I see it, OF3 or subsequent versions would be the first sub to use as a foundation. Removing all fears will then make all future subs work better is my understanding.

So for me it seems once OF3 fully does its job the next logical step would be to remove anything else within me whether Im aware of trauma or not so E5 and then from that who knows.

Just my 2 cents hopefully my understanding is correct and helpful.

I'm wondering why the recommended running time form E5 has remained 8 months. I assumed the levelling up in technology would result in less months of running time. Just like OFv3 is 6 months.

Hi @Shannon I'm currently listening to OF 3 and I have a couple questions about auto config.

First, how does it work or how does it affect the user? I've been listening to trickling masked since the beginning. But for some reason, I had the urge to listen to 3 loops in US format before going to bed last night. I can more or less understand about the 3 loops part. My question would be "why US format?". Is auto config responsible for this? Can it demand a particular format to listen to like this or is it just me being weird?

The second one would be what would happen if I were to neglect auto config and stick to the recommended listening pattern for my entire run?

AutoConfig uses the cooperative parts of your own subconscious mind to find the best usage settings for you regarding the title you're using in order to achieve the program's goals.  It then communicates these instructions to the conscious mind through urges and desires.  When you get these urges, follow them.  

As to your question, "Why ultrasonic?" I can only guess because I am not your subconhscious mind.  Ultrasonic offers a very good option for presenting the instructions in a forceful - but not too forceful - manner.  Perhaps its volume will hit the right parts of your subconscious mind; perhaps the volume hits at the right level of perceptory pressure to push through resistance.  Perhaps other things.  But yes, that does sound like AutoConfig.  It can find all of the right variables needed, including loops, days on, days off, volume, format, etc.  Whichever variables are most importsnt, it will figure out and then communicate to the conscious mind.

If you ignore autoconfig, then you're not going to get as good an outcome, presuming you're experiencing AutoConfig.  (Which I think you are.)

As incredibly difficult as OF is, E5 is even more so because it's trying to remove fear and then clear and heal and process emotional pain, traumas, etc.  It didn't make me happy that it was indicated for 8 months, but that's what was indicated.  There is likely a speed limit to how fast a person can process these things.  Better technology, faster technology, does not change the limits at which a human can heal.

But the length of time did drop from 9 months on v4, IIRC.

If you run OFV3 first, it would likely make E5’s job easier.
