It also opened my eyes, I began to see how many opportunities and "openings" from girls I blocked out unconsciously that he easily spotted and made use of. And when I saw an opening to escalate I did it but I realized that I was a more tense than him about it in a very subtle way, I couldn't get such a relaxed vibe like him and the girls must have picked up on it raising their defense towards me but lower it for him. He was more relaxed being sober in a club (he never drinks) than me being drunk which was quite an eyeopener for me.

Or when I ask him where he got to know the girl on the picture I usually get stories like "I just saw her walking on the street in Regensburg (the next major city) when I came from shopping on tuesday.
