Yesterday I went on a 3km Sprint with my dogs around 10pm, then later on in the night again for 1.5km, Today so far I went for a 30 minute walk with a jog (I was trying to run but my pants were super loose so i decided to wait), going to go for another run later tonight around midnight.
I've also been doing Calisthenics, Pull ups, Push ups, home work outs, before my sprint yesterday for example & walk today, I'm in really good physical shape , but my cardio is not very good. Soon I will be joining boxing, in 1 month or so.
I feel really good running with my dogs, 1 German Shepherd in one Hand, 1 Presa Canario / Pitbull Mix in the other. It's such a primal feeling, & I hope to develop a habit where I do this forever. & start connecting with my dogs on a greater level, I haven't connected with my dogs this well since I was 19, when I first got my German Shepherd I would go to the lake every single day with it after work, & it would swim, but then life got in the way, court, toxic relationships, bad habits, license. ect. So I wasn't able to do it to the same extent as before. Although when I was in a toxic relationship we did allot of walking together , we would walk every day after I finished work, 2 hours. So that was the healthiest part of that relationship.
The Music I know I will always love & do, because Music is my passion since I was 5, but this Boxing endeavour, I really feel like it is good for me & if I do it I will be happy, I just need to stay committed, I feel like if I fail at this it will take a big hit on my pride & self esteem, I have been on & off for many years with Martial Arts but this time I want to stay committed, I this the problem before was I was in MMA instead of BOXING , I like sparring, & fighting, MMA was more training, but less sparring.
I want to become the highest potential I can be, Mike Tyson is someone I am listening to allot lately, his podcasts & interviews, he has a great mind, & mindset, he said discipline is doing what you hate but doing it like you love it.
And that's basically where I am with this running this, I don't really like doing it, but after I'm done I feel amazing, And Accomplished, & I learned from Youtube to learn to reward yourself when you achieve small goals, as that will spike dopamine in a healthy way, & keep you motivated, give you more energy, basically remind yourself you're on the right path.
