If I were you, I would be reading books on mastery. They keep you encouraged and focused on the big picture. Here are some books that I could recommend:
1) Mastery by Robert Greene (a really good book)
2) Mastery by George Leonard (the best way of keeping you in the 'big picture)
3) Talent is Overrated (I haven't read this)
Thanks for this. I am not a fan of Robert Greene's book but I will still check that out. I already have Mastery: The Keys to Success and Long-Term Fulfillment by George Leonard but I haven't read it. I will read it now since you have suggested. I will also check out Talent is Overrated.
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
