I have noted that two of the four major personality archetypes (intellect focused and action focused) seem to have little to no fear. When a person has a preponderance of either or both of those two, they seem to experience little to no fear naturally. The issue stems from the fact that we are complex and there are many of those parts to consider. Usually one or more of them will be based in one of the two other personality archetypes, which seem to be focused almost exclusively into one or both of those personality archetypes in all of the "parts "much more prone to experiencing fear.
He probably has a majority of the parts of his personality, consciously and subconsciously, focused in one or both of those two archetypes. Since it "just is", he has no concept of anything else, and thus cannot teach how to bridge the gap.
It astonishes me how much fear affects us, almost all of us, and how little we really see or understand the amount and breadth of it's impact. I can't wait to get through the storm I'm dealing with now and resume working on FRM.
