Topic has been overachievers and how or why they were able to achieve greatness. The thing I keep noticing is lack of fear IS the common denominator. These overachievers do not usually realize this. And even the authors of the books rarely mention lack of fear. They talk about many different aspects of mindset, perseverance, determination, etc. All of these things are great and I’m not questioning that these high achievers actually had these traits but what all these people are missing that Shannon has figured out is lack of fear is the common denominator. All of this uncommon traits and high achievement is made possible due to less than average levels of fear.
Good point! which books did you listen to? I defiantly realized the same going through biographies of Elon Musk, Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos
Recently two Tim Ferriss books, Tools of Titans and Tribe of Mentors. These two and I have literally read stacks of books along these same lines over the years. I always try to learn as much as I can from outliers and not reinvent the wheel. But again it all seems to come back to Fear.
