There was something I remembered from a number of years ago. A friend of mine was describing a sexual "relationship" she had with a man. She spoke of this man with admiration, respect, and awe. She practically idolized him.

So Shannon, you are very smart about these things. Somewhere in here are probably clues or ideas that could help with DMSI, but I could only guess what they are.
Such a situation is rare enough that it would be difficult to extract useful information from, but perhaps the idolization and complete lack of regard for anything but using her for sex gives us a clue.
