not gonna lie, i've often gotten jealous and resentful that shannon takes so much time out of his busy life to give advice to people who refuse to take it when there are plenty of people who would do much better with his time and advice. Not to mention the time that could be devoted to working and moving the technology forward

I hear ya cluckin' big chicken, but try to keep in mind that Shannon is a teacher. Some students shine, some are needy, some seem to never learn...but a good teacher doesn't discriminate. You never know what will get through, or when.

Keep being the good student. You'll be better for it. Of course, you're a good teacher, too. We're all a bit of both, aren't we?

I agree with RT. Seems like I recently started seeing things differently and am finally taking to heart what Shannon says (at times). You never know when things'll click.

I made a comment to yesterday to this guy and he immediately assumed that I was really good with women. Here's how it went down:

The model and I danced on top of chairs on saturday, in the front row of a hotel ballroom, facing the back. She was doing some moves that clearly indicated her former occupation (stripper). You should have seen the look on some of the guys' faces. They were puppy dog eyeing her body and dancing. You could see the look of desire on their faces. Then their faces when they saw me next to her. Their faces said "damn, I wish I was him!"

So the stripper was on my left, and on my right, the "girl with no ass" twerked both asscheeks on me and made sure I felt each cheek. While there was a comment made about her having no ass by a fellow member of this board, I felt them cheeks, and I can say that even tho it looks like she had no ass, it felt like she did ... and she did it more than once ....

earlier that day, i asked model girl if i could use the shower in their hotel room. her room had 3 girls in it, whereas the guys room had 6 guys, which is why i asked if i could use their shower. model girl asks me "why don't you just sleep in our room tonight?!"

I was like "okay sure, but make sure it's okay with the other 2 girls". so she went upstairs to go ask one of the girls if I could stay there that night, and apparently the other girl was hellbent against it. Which to be honest was completely OK with me, because I fully respect that boundary. It's a woman's room, and that particular woman had a boyfriend, so she felt uneasy about a guy sleeping in that room. But the model chick went to bat for me and made it KNOWN that she didn't know WHO she was rejecting to sleep in that room. i guess the girl ended up talking to somebody else because 20 min later, this chick makes a beeline to me, while i'm with a group of people, and starts supplicating to me. "i'm so sorry i didn't know you didn't have a place to sleep, i felt so bad for saying you couldn't sleep there tonight. so i made arrangements in another room. you can sleep in that room tonight, and you can have that bed. i'm so sorry.".. and she went on this big spiel about how she didn't know i was the model chick's best friend, etc. ROFL. and she said this in front of other guys who were like "WTF this dude is getting a bed in a girl's room?!" XD

unfortunately, nothing happened that night sexually... but I definitely connected on a deep and personal level with no-ass-girl. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
