This leads me to believe this goal of complete balance between masculine and feminine energies is a naive, false goal. It's two pole canceling each other out, making you androgynous. You need masculine energy to expand and create.
Even AM6 is designed to continually push you off balance stage-by-stage before finally locking you into state of masculinity at the end.
"Balance" is a ***** goal for most people. It means nothing. It's a catch-all term to hide the fact that they are unmotivated and scared to push and build themselves. You've been taught to fear your own manhood -- hence all the anger shaming that goes on. Hence, being called "bitter" when you stand up against injustice -- as if passive acceptance of injustice is a virtue.
It's all designed to turn you into an individual without personality, without a soul, without a mission and then make you feel good and superior about it.
You're a man. It's your birthright to be successful, to conquer yourself and your world. Act like it.
I think people get the balance thing wrong. I mean if you look at the yin-yang symbol than every side is filled like 90% black or white and contains about 10% of the other color. And for my opinion this is probably what healthy balance is. Like 90% masculine and 10% feminine for man and 90% feminine and 10% masculine for women. A 50/50 ratio is probably wishful thinking of some feminists. If this would be really the goal we already had only one gender. And in similar ways people probably misunderstand zen, or just be yourself.
The other thing that some people miss in that yin yang symbol is the movement between the black and white, it's moving. So there is a 3rd parameter, it's not a fixed symbol.
I found a document hosted on this forum server, I don't know who posted it or if it was actually posted publicly, I use the url to get it manually , but in that pdf it was noted 60% masculine 40% feminine was the good ratio for a male. I don't know if it was Shannon who wrote that pdf.
I think too much masculine at some point you run into an issue, too much of something is sometimes not a good thing. Like Bad Wolf, yeah it's cool to use it but well maybe I'm overdoing it seriously. If someone he is too much masculine he doesn't change his idea easily, a bit like the titanic who take a long time to change direction. I don't think anyone on this forum is like that though.
I was about to mention something along this line, the Yin yang symbol is a 1D symbol which is meant to represent a 3D shape, the Torus. And of course the key principle of the Torus is...wait for it...
Balance!
In order to become a self-sustaining organism as opposed to one dependent on consuming external energies, a human must behave alongside universal laws, and the torus is constantly seen as the 'perfect' construct which enables energy to be created, and not lost. I assume you know what a torus is,and its significance.
This video demonstrates the Yin yang/torus connection:
