This is the exact reason I am the point where I HAVE to start making money and get off parent's shadows. If you are 18 years old, or somewhere around that age, it is a great news! You got a head start. It could be puzzling which direction to take to. And depends on which country you live in. You may or may or not get a part-time job, but what's important is that, and I'd encourage you do is stick to one thing and nail it down. If it is writing, that is great!
