Day 38 of OSC + DRS v2.
So anyway, got another audition for a band next Sunday, they asked me to prepare some pretty good tunes, so that should be fun. We'll see how it pans out.
Had some very interesting - and pleasant - dreams related to OSC, definitely. It's continuing to do its work.
Also noticing that certain people appear to be discouraging me from continuing to run DRS v2 (f. in., but not just, me crazy mum. She even treid to implicate that me listening to subliminals is a sign of worsening mental health, lol. Clever.) I assume it's because it's working and it's creating a situation in which making things unpleasant for me makes things unpleasant for those who would do so.
So - remember - think happy thoughts, and Have at ye is awesome!
I do get moments of anger and frustartion when practicing singing, and this one particular "money note" in this Verdi aria I've been practicing relentlessly for quite some time now - when it's not as good as I would want it to be, I start getting salty, lewl. But still, now that I'm in serious practice mode (running 5 heavy-duty arias back to back) instead of "working on technique" mode the difficulty level has increased a notch, which is par for the course. Still feeling pretty optimistic about my singing, though, especially once I run OSC after practice which calms me down (and usually makes me wanna nap which is good for muscular recovery).
