Some more details on last night: there's one guy who's always been a bit of a "frenemy" of mine when it comes to attractive women, and especially designee "lady lawyer" and other women of her quality, and he'd get in my way on purpose or become very salty towards me whenever I'd, f. in., chat her up. Last night this did not happen. He did go on a bit of a rant at one point, but ceased relatively quickly and his overall mood also improved after, so he's probably a decent person just with "quality women" issues of some sort, so maybe he'll work on those now.
It was a fun night. When saying our goodbyes, we promised told each other with "lady lawyer" we can't see each other again soon enough.
