I am constantly seeking such personality types for observation and experimentation. It's not always easy to get them to agree to help, but sometimes they will. The issues that I have encountered and uncovered when I have had the assistance of such individuals have been overcome, one by one, and every experiment shows me new things to work on. But the prototype uses a technology that is so advanced that it actually makes it challenging for me to determine what needs work. That technology is something like a heat seeking missile which only targets those people who have the right qualities. This on the one hand allows me to selectively enhance the impact for specific personality types (highly resistant, etc.) but also makes it hard for me to know when I have an issue that needs to be worked on. That's part of why this is taking so long to develop. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack sometimes.
It's not really a matter of "overcoming" resistance. It's a matter of finding a way to get people to agree to cooperate without forcing it on them. There turn out to be a lot of considerations which have to be addressed when getting someone to "unlock" themselves for cooperation like that, and I have to basically find them all in the proverbial dark. My testers are always giving me clues and hints, and they've gotten to know and laugh at "that look" when I discover one based on something they said or did. But I'm not trying to break people, force people, or "overcome" their will. I'm trying to present the goal in such a way that they understand it to be desirable in such a manner that they choose to cooperate and allow themselves to achieve it.
