#1 is within fair use legally, as far as I know. He just cannot use the subliminals unless he purchased a copy for himself.
#2 Exposing your father while your mother is using the sub is also fair use legally.
You're fine as long as he doesn't directly use, by himself, any subliminal he didn't own. Your mother would own the subs you gave her.
