I have a similar problem where, for no good reason, the left channel plays at ~-40db and the right channel plays at ~-30db on the ultrasonic track. Is this a big problem?
This is interesting, because I perform a group waveform normalize on the tracks before mixdown and then I interface them in a way that makes this impossible for it to be something on my end, as far as I know. Yet I'm reading about this being a common situation. I'll have to look into this.
Ideally, we want them to be equal in volume. It's not going to kill you if they're not, but still.
