Taking as much time as I like would mean we had 2-3 more months of work on DMSI 3.3. That's not reasonable, given how much crap has already delayed us. So I've decided that I'm going to tie up whatever loose ends are left and start building it around the 20th of November, if it's not ready to build for some reason before that.
I would say take 2-3 months if needed then see how well it works. That would save you time for 3.4
Save time for 3.4??? The testing process has been around 3-6 months per version...
I meant the development time for 3.4. If Shannon doesn't add them now, he'll eventually have to add a couple extra months to work on them anyway in 3.4. Why not do it now and make 3.3 as near perfect as possible?
I would guess that adding too many new modules would make the testing process much more difficult. It would be difficult to tell which ones work and what the exact effects of each one are.
There are also other subs that need to be worked on such as LTU and perhaps a few focus fires to keep the business going.
