That still sounds not right. So, let me get this straight, they don't want their employees to show up until their scheduled time and if you do, then you could be fired? You as an employee have every right to show up early, I can see their point of not wanting employees to work off the clock. But it sounds like in your case, you're not working off the clock. You are just arriving early to make sure you are not late. Hell, I always show up 20 minutes early, you never know if there maybe some accident or road closure that you don't know about. IMO, you might still have a case of wrongful termination, if I was you I would talk to the labor board. They will have lawyers who can look into this, which might not even cost you any money.
Another thing, maybe go to your unemployment office in your area, and file a wrongful termination case and explain your side of the story. Then while you're seeking out unemployment benefits, that way you will still have money coming in, they will investigate the matter on your behalf. If they deem this as wrongful termination, it could get you your job back or something better. If everything is what you say it is, this company could see itself in serious legal trouble.
