Americans (United Statesians?) have the mindset as a whole that they are simply entitled to more, just because. Simply put, spending more than you make leads to debt. At the lowest level, all you have to do is live below your means and save the rest. That doesn't happen here - not from natives, at least. Most people in this country don't have a clue about becoming wealthy because they have the wrong mindset and belief system.
