A couple of weeks ago, a truck hit the man in front of my eyes, I just walked by and let the others took care of him. It didn't bother me at all. I didn't even think about it later in the day. I know I couldn't help that man better than others could at that moment, and making a scene doesn't make things simple, does it?
Her sister overreacted and called you a monster because you held your frame and didn't freak out. And that girl misunderstood you because she thought you did not care at all.
So in this regard, you couldn't be more alpha. Sure, you could utter some fake and tactical words or pretend to be worried, but that isn't you, so you didn't do it.
