I think there's only a serious side effect when the person has a chemical imbalance or mentally ill. I rmbr reading there was this psycho guy who would hook up with a new girl every two weeks couldn't hold a relationship was abusive and he was diagnosed with a mental illness his brother got him to listen to AM but then had suicidal thoughts because he kept thinking he wasn't good enough and stopped.
