Alpha Male 2011 is truly breaking new ground with intricacy, complexity, build requirements and forcing me to be creative to get the job done.

My computer has 2 cores running at 2.53 GigaHertz (Billion cycles per second) per core. The build environment uses one core exclusively. It is taking me about 4 hours per stage for the computer to compile each one... after I am done with all the stuff I need to do. Now imagine this... it takes about 4 hours of 100% CPU time to compile each stage once I have everything set up properly. That's 2.53 billion calculations per second x 3600 seconds x 4 hours. If we tried to calculate out all this stuff on something from the 1940's, like ENIAC, it would take about a decade. For one single stage. It takes me between 1 and 3 days of script work to get to the point that I can compile each stage... plus hours recording and arranging the audio... plus compiling. And that doesn't take into account the time I put in doing experiments and figuring out how to improve all the things I had been using in the previous version.
All told, there is an estimated 4,500 hours worth of work that has gone into taking the 2010 version and turning it into the 2011 version, including the time I have spent developing the 4G specs and techniques.

After all are built, a day of testing and verification... and then I have to write the instructions. I am estimating 5-6 more days, gentlemen. The closer we get, the more obsessed I am becoming with working on this... and the more obsessed I become, the more time I am forcing myself to work on it.
And as I finished writing this, the computer finished processing Stage 5, build 3. Stage 5 is finished. Well and truly. Been up since 5 am doing this compile. It's 11 am now. Now it's time to go back to bed and rest my brain.
