Ok, understood. When I follow the directions for setting the volume, there is no static. However, just to be sure I downloaded and burned the test speakers mp3 onto a CD and when I tried to replay it on my stereo, the stereo said there is no disc. So I burned another CD because I thought that something may be wrong with the first one, but the same thing happened again, it said there is no disc. Do you still think my speakers are fine or should I just get another set of speakers?
