If you use two methods to achieve one goal, how do you know what did what? As long as the sub script does not conflict with the EFT there should be no problem. But I recommend that even if they do not (and that may not always be obvious, concerning the six stage sets), I suggest you use each one separately until you clearly know what each is doing by itself.
