I have to agree with you.  I have been very cautious about letting myself get my hopes up that maybe this time I succeeded, but it does seem that this time it is working.  I'm very pleasantly relieved.

Would E3 and eventually E4 have the same effect on social skills?

If the reason they're being repressed is fear, then E3, no.  E4, maybe, depending on the specifics of how and why they are being repressed, and how E4 stand alone ends up being designed relative to how OF is regarding FRM in Platinum Lake build.
