Exactly my thought. But then again if she is with others you really need to run some game, which is why I actually like the Mystery Method, made me realize that most women when out are in groups and it has a structure in meeting, getting the girl comfortable, and then seducing her while in a group. If she is with others and you just go up, talk to her, and forget about the group you will probably make her uncomfortable, no matter how much she may like you. So I can see where social proofing has it's place, but to some extent it is also about ego feeding, which when taken to that extent does nobody any good.
