One thing I thought of with LFC is that it could be great for visualization: you focus and really get into it, then focus on something else and get out of the way. Maybe that latter part would help letting the bloom happen more easily.

I thought along the same line and hoped that it would get me to visualize out of the box. But my visualization is baseline zero as always. UMS on the other hand upped my normally almost non-existent visualization ability several levels when I was on it.
