FLAC converted to ALAC?(DMSI)

I just wonder if the subliminals get ruined when I convert FLAC to ALAC

Depends on what you're using to do the conversion. If you're careful to make it completely lossless, then the audio is literally identical and I (personally) don't see what issue there might be.

BTW, this is exactly what I do. I use XLD to convert from FLAC to ALAC, and then play those files.
