Interesting suggestion, but I beat you to it. The flaw I found was that the answer that may be given by the sbconscious would be dictated by the current programming, which, if negative, will tend to homeostasis. Not what is desired. I found a way to work around it and get past the challenge while gaining the benefits, though.
