Well generally noise cancelling isn't recommended or anything that might alter the audio with subliminals.
The other thing is the specification you're talking about is for ultrasonic, and that isn't recommended to be used on headphones anyway, only speakers. Because it's too easy to get the volume wrong on headphones, too low may reduce effectiveness, too high may damage hearing.
We can't know if the noise cancelling is actually affecting the subliminal audio in a negative way, such as perhaps being cancelled out itself. We therefore do not recommend using NC. And Ben is spot on about using the ultrasonic with headset.
