There is a module in this version that is designed to override the state shifting effects of ingested chemicals that affect state shifting in such a way that as long as it is safe to do so, it will try to override the effects and force a shift to the ideal state.

I do not know how well it works yet, but I know that the models indicated that it was a significantly better solution than not having it.

That said, there is doubtless only so much it will be able to do. You can't go drink yourself under the table and wonder why you still got drunk.
