I have a policy that I don't model for individuals, and we recently saw why: in most cases, the answer is the most likely outcome, not the only possible outcome; and it is then possible to alter the future by deciding to make that future not come to pass by altering what you choose to do in the mean time. If you are resisting the sub as it is, then some part of you has an incentive to do exactly that.
