If this turns out to be a blockbuster smash hit, it may be necessary to adjust the price upward to cause the price to match perceived value. The best profits always come when the price (the price at which the seller values it) and perceived value by the customer are the same.
But for the time being, it will be a free upgrade for those who purchased USLM1, and the price will remain the same.
Thank you.
Perceived value also has to match user's purchasing power, otherwise it is just a mere illusion.
Yet USLM should take of that, and, with consistent application of user's efforts towards better finances, there shouldn't be any problem allowing profits to come to our benefactor
I have a set of Canon lenses for my small format camera equipment. These are the "L" series lenses, and they ranged from $1,350 to $2,800 each when I bought them. Their resale value even 10 years later is still 80-90% of that.
I bought them at those prices because I agreed that the value they represented was worth at least the price being asked.
Did I have $10,000+ when I bought them? Not even close. I had to save up and buy each one. But I did. Because the value they represented was worth the wait, and the price, to me.
The price can exceed the purchasing power of the consumer if it is true that the perceived value is high enough, because if it is, the user will find a way to pay for it. Even if it means saving over a period of time.
But I do like making programs that pay for themselves, and potentially other programs.
