the fear of death and the fear of the unknown are two of mankinds biggest fears. Incidentally these two fears are what ,we allow to,keep Us from Living fully!!
Yes, it is the fear of the unknown.
Removing fear, when it is so fractal and holographic in nature, as well as being irrational and self regenerating, is almost impossible.
I know there is a way to do it, however, and I'm determined to do exactly that.
I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to adjust the modules, but I'm making progress. This could take a day or three though.
Fear of the unknown (and, possibly, Keith's fear of death there) has always seemed to me to be more of a survival/self-interest fear of "What will happen to me?" Of consequences.
It's only my opinion, and I haven't spent nearly as much time on the subject as you have, but it seems to me like a valuable step in removing this fear of the unknown would be teaching people that consequences aren't exclusively positive or negative, can be both at the same time, can be neither/other things, and can be completely absent of any significant impact whatsoever.
You know, undo all of that each-decision-ends-in-happiness-or-severe-doom programming that parents and institutions often use to teach (read: reward/scare) a kid "right from wrong." Sometimes adults miss, and they teach kids to fear consequences rather than to respect them.
The reality is, unfortunately, that removing fear is a lot more complicated than that.
