For instance, if you were using a game with the ocean surf track, the rule of thumb is, you have to be able to hear at least faintly the lowest volume areas of the ocean surf masking track. Same with the trickling stream track.
But if you use ultrasonic, you don't need to worry regardless. Just calibrate volume for it, and do whatever you like otherwise. It'll be just fine as long as you're getting both the game/movie audio and the subliminal audio through the speakers or headphones.
We recommend speakers only when using ultrasonics, though, as it is easy to overvolume them and not know it.
Hello Shannon,
I am new here and trying 5.5g USLM from today.
I read the following online
"Without a doubt, ultrasonic subliminals have a number of advantages over the masked variety; and vice-versa. However, the majority of commercially sold subliminals are in the masked format as this layout is easier to make and has an extensive history of success – given that it is correctly made and utilized. The ultrasonic type is more difficult to create yet it is generally more effective for the reason that the subliminal message is considerably louder."
Is it true ultrasonic is better than masked versions?
