Fear of not being afraid is truly ridiculous from a logical point of view, but it is a significant and serious issue that I identified about 5 years ago. It is one of the biggest issues we have with getting out of, and past fear. Most people assume that fear is what keeps them safe, so not having it creates more of it.
The solution is to recognize that using your ability to think is going to keep you just as safe, but give you much less in the way of limitations at the same time.
Emotions are not rational, though, and the part of you experiencing and generating fear is emotional. This is what has made it so hard to get rid of fear. The current work I am doing is making significant strides in that direction, and while I don't know that I am finished, I do know that I am making important progress.
