Say, I'm wondering if it makes sense that Maximum Healing Speed includes a worsening in certain conditions before getting better.

For example, my digestion and my eyesight (in one eye) have gotten worse.

Well, I have noted that whenever I do major cleaning in my house, it gets dirtier and more messy before it gets clean. I have noted that when detoxing the body, it can make the body sicker before the toxins get cleaned out. So I presume that it is possible for things to get worse before they get better. If this is the case, then the change would likely be for the same reason things get more cluttered before they become more organized: moving things around puts you in a state of less order before you can make more order. In this case, perhaps it is a situation in which the body is making changes that reduce capability.

Another option would be resistance, and perhaps an attempt at reversal resistance. Digestive issues can indicate emotional upset.

Finally, it is possible that these things are entirely unrelated.
